Update on RESA Project

The RESA Project design-build contract has been advanced to the 75% detailed design phase, which is inclusive of the draft Traffic Management Plan and Construction Management Plan. Project logistics related to construction staging, site access, and work scheduling are currently being finalized by the design‑build contractor. These details will be shared in the coming weeks on our Capital Projects page.  Please note that Toronto Port Authority has worked closely with the contractor to ensure that construction traffic does not utilize Eireann Quay for this project and instead utilize barges from the Port Lands as the primary method for transporting construction equipment and materials to the island.

Additional information regarding construction related noise, dust, and lighting mitigation measures will be provided with the finalized Traffic Management and Construction Management Plans.
