Outer Harbour Marina Welcomes Celsius Floating Sauna and Lake Plunge Experience to Toronto’s Waterfront

Toronto’s waterfront has a new year-round wellness destination. Outer Harbour Marina is pleased to welcome Celsius, a floating sauna and lake plunge experience that offers a unique way to enjoy the waterfront in every season.
Located at Outer Harbour Marina, Celsius combines a cedar sauna, lake plunge pools and panoramic views of Toronto’s skyline, creating a one-of-a-kind wellness experience on the water. Built on a floating dock, the facility is designed to be completely off-grid and minimally invasive, with no permanent structures.
The floating installation moves between two locations within the marina throughout the year, allowing guests to enjoy the best of the waterfront landscape in both summer and winter.
“Toronto’s waterfront is an extraordinary asset, and Celsius brings a fresh perspective to how people can experience it,” said Mike Dwyer, Senior Manager, Outer Harbour Marina. “This innovative wellness offering complements the Outer Harbour Marina’s existing amenities while creating another opportunity for people to connect with the water, the city and the outdoors throughout the year.
Celsius offers both shared sauna sessions and private bookings, providing guests with opportunities to relax, recharge and experience the benefits of hot and cold therapy in a distinctive waterfront setting. Whether warming up in the sauna, taking a lake plunge or simply enjoying views of Lake Ontario and the Toronto skyline, visitors can engage with the waterfront in a new way.
“At its heart, Celsius is a ritual — heat, cold, rest, repeated at your own pace,” said co-founder Abbas Khambati. “A few rounds of that cycle and your whole day changes. We wanted that feeling on Toronto’s waterfront, in every season, without anyone having to leave the city.”
The addition of Celsius supports Outer Harbour Marina’s ongoing efforts to diversify its recreational offerings and enhance year-round activity on Toronto’s eastern waterfront. It also builds on the marina’s role as a destination that attracts boaters, residents and visitors seeking unique experiences along the harbour.
