Toronto Nature Stewards is a community of volunteers who work to restore and protect the city’s natural areas. Through agreement between Toronto Nature Stewards and the City of Toronto Urban Forestry Division, a stewardship program is run on public land in ravines and natural areas without direct City supervision. Sites are managed by Lead Stewards who have been trained, follow agreed-upon protocols for ecological restoration, and report their stewardship activities. Learn more here.
